Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Affpilot (“the service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

1. What the service does

Affpilot generates written content with AI models, optionally adds AI-generated images, and can publish the result to a WordPress site you connect. You decide what to generate and what to publish.

2. Your account

You need a valid email address and you are responsible for keeping your password safe. Do not share one account between people who should not see each other's work. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.

3. Words, plans and payment

Usage is measured in words: one word of generated article costs one word from your balance. Words are usable for the period stated on the plan you bought and are spent oldest-batch-first. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and we will not change the price of a running subscription without telling you first.

If a writing job fails or you stop it before it finishes, the unused words are returned to your balance automatically.

4. What you may not do

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or that harasses or endangers anyone.
• Generate sexual content involving minors, or content designed to deceive people about who wrote it in a context where that causes real harm (medical, legal or financial advice presented as expert human advice, for example).
• Resell raw access to the service, share your credentials, or run it through scripts that bypass the interface.
• Attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend an account that does these things. If we do, we will tell you why.

5. Who owns the output

You own the content the service generates for you, and you are free to publish and sell it. You are also responsible for it — including checking facts, complying with the rules of any platform you publish to, and meeting any disclosure requirements (for example, Amazon Associates disclosures on affiliate content). AI output can be wrong. Read it before you publish it.

6. Third parties

The service uses third-party AI providers, image providers, payment processors and, where you ask it to, your own WordPress site and Amazon Associates account. Their availability is not something we control, and outages there can interrupt the service.

7. Uptime and liability

We work to keep the service running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost rankings, or content decisions you made based on AI output.

8. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. Unused words are not transferable and, except as set out in our refund policy, are not refundable. We may end the agreement if you break these terms.

9. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
